Through the looking glass
Saul Leiter has always been a tremendous influence on my street photography and I would attribute my own love of photographing reflections to his masterful use of the medium.
Walk through any city street and you would be hard-pressed to not pass by a window of some kind. We tend to only ever look through this ubiquitous structure to see whatever is on the other side of it. Spend a little more time and really observe it, however, and you may just find an alternate reality appear in its reflection. This collision of realities provides a new dimension of storytelling.
